Used Pulse provides marketplace technology that allows independent buyers and sellers to advertise new or used products, communicate, operate verified seller storefronts and, where available, complete eligible purchases using Stripe and Stripe Connect. Unless a listing expressly states otherwise, Used Pulse is not the owner, manufacturer, distributor or seller of products listed by marketplace users.
Independent sellers and storefronts
Seller storefronts, including store names, logos, banners, descriptions, themes and product selections, are user-generated content. Identity verification establishes that specified verification checks were completed; it does not mean Used Pulse endorses the seller, storefront or products, and it does not guarantee honesty, solvency, product quality, authenticity, delivery or transaction performance.
Listings, quantities and discounts
Sellers are responsible for listing descriptions, condition, prices, available quantities, percentage or fixed discounts, entire-order discounts and other sales representations. Used Pulse does not guarantee that inventory, pricing or a discount remains available until an eligible payment is successfully completed and recorded. Buyers should review the final price, quantity, shipping charge and order information before paying.
Used Pulse Checkout, Stripe Connect and fees
Eligible sellers may offer purchases through Used Pulse Checkout using Stripe Connect. Under the currently configured marketplace flow, payments can be collected as direct charges on a seller's connected Stripe account and Used Pulse may collect a platform/application fee, currently 3% of the merchandise selling amount as displayed by the service. Shipping charges are handled separately from that marketplace percentage in the current implementation. Stripe processing fees, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, taxes, reserves, payout timing or other Stripe adjustments may affect the seller's actual proceeds.
Stripe, not Used Pulse, processes payment credentials and connected-account payout/banking information. Payment acceptance, holds, account eligibility, payout availability, verification, reserves and other payment-provider decisions may be controlled by Stripe and its financial partners. A successful website screen alone should not be treated as proof of payment where the service or payment provider indicates that payment is pending.
Shipping, pickup and delivery
Sellers set the shipping charges offered for local, country and international orders and are responsible for selecting appropriate charges and fulfilling accepted orders. Shipping prices displayed by a seller are not a guarantee of carrier availability, delivery time, customs clearance, insurance or actual shipping cost. Buyers and sellers remain responsible for addresses, packaging, carrier arrangements, tracking, duties, taxes, customs and compliance with shipping restrictions. In-person pickup or delivery is arranged by the users involved.
Orders, refunds, disputes and chargebacks
Order and dispute tools provide records and communication mechanisms but do not guarantee a particular outcome. Refund, cancellation, return, chargeback and consumer-right obligations can depend on the seller, product, payment method and applicable law. Used Pulse may preserve transaction and dispute records, restrict accounts or take other reasonable steps to address fraud, technical errors, prohibited activity or legal obligations.
On-platform and off-platform transactions
Eligible users may choose platform-supported checkout or may use listing/contact features for transactions completed outside Used Pulse. Users who exchange money, contact details, goods or services outside the platform do so at their own risk and may not have the same payment records, Stripe processing, dispute information or other platform-supported safeguards.
Auctions and offers
Auction bids, offers and other marketplace commitments are between marketplace users. Auction timing, anti-sniping, bid records and transaction records are technology features and do not make Used Pulse the seller or buyer. The separate Auction & Bidding Help and marketplace rules also apply.
Mark as sold and availability
A seller's use of Mark as sold, availability status or inventory quantity is informational and may not independently prove that a transaction was completed, paid, delivered or legally final. Sellers are responsible for keeping listings and inventory reasonably current.
Approximate location
Approximate map coordinates and browser-generated location values are provided for convenience and can be inaccurate, unavailable or affected by device/browser settings. They should not be relied on for emergency services, exact addresses, legal boundaries, shipping calculations or personal-safety decisions.
No guarantee of listings or products
Used Pulse does not guarantee that a listing, storefront or user statement is accurate, current, lawful, available, authentic, safe, fit for purpose or free from defects, liens, recalls or third-party claims. Users should perform appropriate checks before purchasing, selling, shipping or meeting another user.
Third-party providers
Payments, payouts, identity verification, CAPTCHA, hosting, email delivery and other functions may be provided by third parties. Their services are governed by their own terms, privacy notices, eligibility rules and availability. Used Pulse does not control independent decisions or outages of those providers.
Featured product promotions
Featured Product placement is a time-limited paid promotion. It increases product visibility through rotating homepage, search, category and storefront placements, but does not guarantee a specific number of impressions, clicks, sales, search position, revenue or any other commercial result. When many products are featured at the same time, only a rotating selection is shown in limited placement areas; all active featured products remain available on the paginated Featured Products page.
Prohibited and regulated items
Users must not list, sell or ship products or services prohibited by law, payment-provider rules or Used Pulse marketplace rules. Sellers are responsible for licenses, product-safety obligations, recalls, age restrictions, taxes, customs, sanctions, import/export restrictions and other rules applicable to their goods and transactions.
Service availability and losses
The website may experience maintenance, errors, delayed webhooks, interrupted service, inaccurate search or inventory information, unavailable third-party services or other technical problems. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Used Pulse does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular commercial result.
Legal rights
Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to exclude or limit rights, remedies or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable consumer-protection, privacy, payment or other law.
This disclaimer is a product-policy draft, not a substitute for comprehensive Terms of Service or legal advice. Because Used Pulse now supports Stripe Connect marketplace payments, seller storefronts, shipping, discounts, auctions and identity verification, qualified counsel should review the final terms, privacy obligations, consumer-sale rules, returns/refunds, payment flow, taxes, marketplace liability, geographic restrictions and dispute process before public launch.
